Jessica Gunn is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience as a nurse practitioner and prescribing clinician. Since 2014, she has cared for patients across a variety of healthcare settings, including primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, and school-based health, developing a strong clinical foundation in both physical and mental health care.
Her background working with diverse patient populations allows her to approach psychiatric treatment with a broad, practical understanding of how mental health symptoms impact day-to-day functioning, relationships, work, and overall well-being.
Jessica provides thoughtful, patient-centered psychiatric care with an emphasis on collaboration, trust, and individualized treatment planning. She creates an environment where patients feel comfortable discussing difficult experiences openly and works closely with them to develop realistic, evidence-based approaches to treatment.
Her care integrates psychiatric medication management with supportive therapeutic strategies focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, behavioral patterns, and long-term stability. She prioritizes transparency, education, and open communication so patients can make informed decisions about their treatment and feel actively involved in the process.

Collaborative Care
Jessica works within a collaborative practice model alongside Alyssa Killion, PMHNP-BC. This approach allows patients to benefit from continuity of care, shared clinical insight when appropriate, and access to additional consultation for more complex diagnostic or treatment considerations.
For many patients, Jessica serves as an excellent starting point for psychiatric care, offering thoughtful, comprehensive treatment with timely availability.
