Sabrina Dixon

Sabrina Dixon is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in psychotherapy, psychiatric nursing, and crisis care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rush University and her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgian Court University.

Her experience spans emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings, where she has supported people facing emotional distress, complex psychiatric symptoms, and substance-related concerns. This background informs a thorough, trauma-informed approach that considers each person's experiences, circumstances, and treatment needs.

Sabrina brings both a counseling and nursing perspective to psychiatric care. Her approach combines careful assessment, medication management, and education, with attention to how mental health symptoms affect daily life and overall well-being. She develops individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and values collaboration, with the patient's permission, with therapists and other healthcare providers to support continuity of care.

At ANK Behavioral Health, Sabrina provides psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adults, drawing on her combined training to address the psychological and physical aspects of mental health.
