A treatment relationship is established only after you have been accepted as a patient and have completed an appropriate clinical evaluation with an ANK Behavioral Health provider.
ANK Behavioral Health provides outpatient psychiatric services primarily through secure telehealth to eligible adults who are physically located in New Jersey at the time services are provided.
Patients must be able to participate appropriately in telehealth, complete required electronic forms, and use the secure patient portal when required.
Telehealth and outpatient psychiatric treatment may not be appropriate for every person or clinical condition. ANK Behavioral Health may recommend in-person evaluation, emergency evaluation, a higher level of care, or another treatment setting when clinically indicated.
ANK Behavioral Health does not provide emergency or crisis services.
Appointments are requested and managed through our scheduling system and patient portal.
Insurance verification and billing for eligible commercial insurance plans may be administered through contracted third-party partners.
Patients are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage and for applicable copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, non-covered services, or self-pay charges.
Fees, participating insurance plans, scheduling procedures, and appointment policies may change. Current practice policies apply at the time services are provided.
ANK Behavioral Health may offer SMS/text messaging for administrative communications related to our practice and your care.
Messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling or rescheduling information, notices that you are due to schedule a follow-up visit, notification of earlier appointment availability or waitlist opportunities, practice-related administrative notices, and other non-emergency communications.
Participation in SMS messaging is voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving healthcare services from ANK Behavioral Health.
Message frequency varies depending on your appointments, communication preferences, and interaction with the practice. Messages may be recurring.
Message and data rates may apply according to the terms of your mobile telephone plan. ANK Behavioral Health is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
You may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to a text message from ANK Behavioral Health.
After you opt out, you may receive a final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Administrative communications may continue through other available methods when appropriate.

Opting out of SMS messaging does not terminate your patient relationship with the practice and does not prevent the practice from communicating with you through other appropriate methods.
Information associated with SMS messaging is handled in accordance with the ANK Behavioral Health Privacy Policy.
SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold or used by third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging should not be used for emergencies, crisis situations, urgent safety concerns, or matters requiring immediate clinical attention.
Delivery of text messages depends on wireless carriers, telecommunications networks, device availability, and other systems outside the control of ANK Behavioral Health.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
By providing contact information to ANK Behavioral Health, you acknowledge that the practice may communicate with you through the communication methods you have authorized or that are reasonably necessary for administrative purposes, subject to applicable law and your communication preferences.
Clinical information requiring secure communication may be directed to the patient portal or another approved communication method.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to ANK Behavioral Health and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or create derivative works from website content without prior written authorization, except as otherwise permitted by law.
